The halls were decked and songs of harmony and joy were heard as Shangri-La Plaza launched Holidaze with its highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting last November 5 at the Grand Atrium.
Christmas 2022 at the Shang promises to be dazzling and bright beginning with the annual ceremony that brings the community together to celebrate the year’s most wonderful time. As always, Shangri-La Plaza sparkles at every turn, and lights up the center of the city with a huge and beautiful hanging Christmas Tree for the first-time ever.
Renowned Filipino performers and upcoming musical acts performed at the event and serenaded mall guests. Jed Madela, the first Filipino to win the World Championships of Performing Arts title, and one of the world’s most awarded chorales the Philippine Madrigal Singers, also performed a repertoire fitting for the happy season. The young talents of Contemporary Acappella Singers Association (CASA), a student-organization based in Ateneo de Manila University also joined the event.
As a leading lifestyle destination and hub for everything culture and the arts, Shang’s partners from the diplomatic community such as the Embassy of Argentina and the Instituto Cervantes, as well as regional and national collaborators like Orgullo Kan Bikol, Tindahang Rizalenyo, DTI Albay, and the Philippine Fashion Coalition were at the event.
The grand hanging Christmas Tree Lighting signaled the start of an amazing holiday line-up of events and activities that bring cheer and the magic of Christmas.
