The new normal has turned homes into multifunctional spaces that support the shifts in our daily lives. From offices to classrooms, even mini gyms and entertainment hubs, homes now house the variety of places, which most have limited access to now.

To help spruce up spaces to accommodate current household needs, Shangri-La Plaza brings together personalities from different fields and expertise to inspire mall guests to make Everyday Wonderful with a series of home vignettes from now until October 25.

Turn those temporary workspaces into something more comfortable and functional with some help from Cathy Ebuen. The events planner and owner of Events Embassy creates a warm and engaging room for working and learning with carefully selected pieces and items. Inspired by modern and contemporary design, Cathy who is also a work-from-home mom of three finishes up her vignette with furniture and other decorative pieces that feature minimalist and geometric elements in earthy hues.

Taking a break and unwinding after a long day or just getting a breather to improve one’s mental state is important, so why not dedicate a room for it if you can? Entrepreneur Amanda Peliño put together an exciting and fun space that tastefully blends dark industrial colors and textures, mid-century ideas and styles, and pieces in gold, tan, and leather. With nooks that reflect hobbies and interests, it’s meant to be a place to entertain friends and have drinks after a busy day.
