Events

Not only does the Shangri-La Plaza provide vibrant and pleasurable shopping that is a feast for the senses. The Shang imbues this experience with choice events, performances and exhibits showcasing the best of Manila’s culture and arts. Schedules of activities and featured events put you at the helm of everything: from concerts, musical treats, theatre, live performances, exhibits and workshops to arcade games, street parties and blockbuster movies.

Besides being home to The Art Plaza, Shangri-La Plaza's partnership with the cultural and diplomatic communities - such as the Japan Foundation, the British Council, Alliance Francaise de Manille, the cultural offices of the embassies of the United States and the European Union, and, closer to home, the National Commission on Culture and the Arts and the Saturday Group - allows it to craft a rich blend of offerings for mall visitors. These range from film festivals, musical and dance performances, art shows, exhibitions and workshops. The Shang's pioneering dedication to these advocacies has made the arts significantly accessible to a broader range of people.
